Floyd Felines is a dedicated 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to rescuing homeless, helpless, and at-risk cats from open-admission shelters in Northwest Georgia. Since 2015, the organization has worked tirelessly to educate the community on best practices for cat care, promote spay/neuter initiatives, and provide affordable options for low-income citizens.
In 2019 alone, over 380 cats and kittens were successfully transported to other rescues, while in 2016, Floyd Felines spayed or neutered 214 rescue cats and provided 75 spay/neuter vouchers for cats adopted from the county animal shelter. With a passionate following of 17,000 supporters, the organization continues to make a significant difference.
