The Florida Paddling Trails Association was founded in 2007 to develop and maintain water trails across Florida. With a focus on environmental stewardship and community engagement, FPTA serves as a vital resource and voice for paddlers, ensuring the preservation of Florida's natural waterways.
Since its inception, FPTA has established the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail and has provided over 400 youth with paddling adventures through the Taylor Howard Youth Paddling Fund, fostering outdoor education and environmental stewardship.
