Our Story

The Florence Downtown Development Corporation Inc. (FDDC) is dedicated to revitalizing Downtown Florence, South Carolina. Established by the City of Florence, this 501(c)3 nonprofit organization operates under the guidance of an independent Board of Directors. With a focus on preservation-based economic development, FDDC collaborates with the City and is a proud member of National Main Street and Main Street South Carolina. Since its inception, FDDC has spearheaded transformative projects that have turned Downtown Florence into a vibrant community hub.
