The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) was established to influence policy and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through education, advocacy, and partnerships, the Council has successfully leveraged over one hundred million dollars to create systemic changes that benefit children and adults with disabilities, including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida.
FDDC has significantly improved the lives of individuals with disabilities by funding innovative practices that promote independence, productivity, integration, and inclusion in communities.
