Our Story

Fitchburg Friends of Felines was founded by a passionate cat lover in Fitchburg, MA, who saw the urgent need to address the growing population of stray cats. Partnering with Merrimack River's The Cat Mobile, the organization successfully implemented a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program, helping over 150 cats in its first year.

Impact

Since its inception, Fitchburg Friends of Felines has achieved remarkable success, with nearly 100% of lost cats being returned to their families. The organization has also found loving homes for every cat rescued since 2018, significantly reducing the homeless cat population through effective feeding stations and rehoming programs.
