Our Story

Fishes and Loaves Cooperative Ministries (FLCM) was established in 2011 by local church representatives in response to the closure of the last grocery store in Hazelwood. Initially a grocery buying club, FLCM has grown into a vital 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to combating food insecurity. The organization’s largest program, Hazelwood-Greenfield Meals on Wheels, was adopted in 2015, providing essential meal delivery services to seniors and individuals in need. In 2016, FLCM expanded its reach by incorporating the Hazelwood YMCA’s Congregate Lunch program, ensuring that community members have access to nutritious meals.
