Our Story
The Fisherman's Feast is a vibrant annual celebration that began in Boston in 1910, rooted in a 16th-century tradition from Sciacca, Sicily. This cherished event honors the devotion of Sicilian fishermen to the Madonna del Soccorso (Our Lady of Help) and is organized by the descendants of the original immigrants. The Feast features a religious procession, live entertainment, and a variety of food vendors, preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Sicilian community in Boston.
