Our Story

First Workings was founded by Kevin Davis to tackle the inequality faced by underserved youth in New York City. By providing high-achieving students from underrepresented communities with access to paid internships and mentorships, the organization helps them gain essential social capital and workplace readiness skills.

Impact

Since 2015, First Workings has served 312 students, achieving a remarkable 100% college attendance rate among its alumni. This demonstrates the effectiveness of its programs in fostering educational advancement and career readiness.
