Our Story
First Shiloh Baptist Church began in 1992 in the homes of the Jean-Baptiste, Vernet, and Raymond families. Under the leadership of Pastor Esneider Jeanty, the church moved to Montclair, NJ, and purchased its first building in 2001. After Pastor Jeanty's retirement in 2008, Pastor Jacob Vital led the church to grow from 30-40 members to a thriving congregation of 300. In 2016, the church relocated to a new facility in Orange, NJ, which accommodates over 1,000 parishioners and features an Education Wing with more than 30 meeting rooms for community activities.
