Our Story

First Responder Therapy Dogs began in 2020 in San Rafael, California, addressing the mental health needs of first responders through trained therapy dogs. This initiative aims to offer free emotional support services to first responders across the nation.

Impact

In 2024, over 66,000 first responders have received support from our therapy dog teams, which have expanded from one certified dog to over 300 teams across 44 states.
