Our Story

The Firehouse Community Arts Center has been a beacon of hope for young people in the Chicago area for over a decade. Founded in 2003 by Pastor Phil Jackson, this center emerged from a vibrant youth-led Hip-Hop worship service. In 2006, it became a 501(c)(3) organization and in 2007, it transformed a historic Chicago Firehouse into a creative sanctuary. The center offers year-round, multi-disciplinary cultural arts programming, mentorship, and workforce development aimed at preventing violence and fostering community.
