The Firehawks Lacrosse Club was founded in 2005 by Doug Appleton with a vision to foster a love for the game while giving back to the sport. Starting with just 40 players, the club has grown to nearly 750 youth lacrosse players in the Menlo Park and San Carlos area, emphasizing skill development, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
Each year, the Firehawks raise approximately $10,000 for various charities and support the development of lacrosse programs at local high schools, impacting 15-20 schools nationwide.
