Our Story
In the late 1950s and 1960s, two visionary Finnish gentlemen, Mr. Ed Jarvi and Dr. Aarne Suominen, established the Finnish American Rest Home to create a safe and comfortable environment for older Finnish immigrants. This facility was designed to honor their native language and customs, allowing seniors to enjoy their golden years surrounded by familiar traditions. Over the decades, the organization has expanded its services to include Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, and Home Care, ensuring a continuum of care for Finns and individuals of all backgrounds.
