Founded in 1953 in Pasadena, California, Finlandia Foundation National was established under the leadership of Consul Yrjö Paloheimo to unite friends of Finland in America. The organization has evolved to champion Finnish culture and heritage across the United States, supporting educational opportunities and promoting enriching programs.
