Our Story

Filling Homes is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northwest Ohio. Established in 1959 through the generosity of Mrs. Carrie Filling Vajen, the organization has evolved to provide a safe haven for those who struggle to find care elsewhere.

Impact

Filling Homes ensures the health, safety, and well-being of its clients through personalized care. The organization is licensed to serve 51 individuals at its base facility and 12 clients in group home settings, along with additional support through community services and day programs.
