In 1993, Sheila Laury received a divine vision to establish Fill My Cup! The mission is to empower individuals by enhancing their reading skills and providing access to the promises of the Bible. Since 2002, the organization has collaborated with local community organizations and the North Carolina Community College System to offer essential adult literacy and basic education programs.
Fill My Cup! offers tuition-free, personalized tutoring to adults, out-of-school youth, and families, addressing the critical literacy challenges in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area, where over 22% of adults struggle with low literacy skills.
