Our Story

For over 80 years, the Filipino Community of Seattle has served as a vital cultural touchstone for thousands of Filipinx Americans and immigrants. Founded during a time of racial strife, this organization has been a beacon of hope, providing social, cultural, and civic support to those in need. As one of the first Filipinx organizations in the nation, FCS has played a crucial role in advocating for civil rights and social justice, enriching the Greater Seattle community.

Impact

Each month, over 7,500 community members rely on FCS for essential support. With $36 million raised for the Filipino Community Village, the organization is committed to providing culturally appropriate services, including weekly meals and food pantry items for 600-750 seniors.
