Our Story
Since 1973, Filipino Advocates for Justice has been a beacon of hope for the Filipino community and other underserved ethnic minorities. Originally known as Filipinos for Affirmative Action, FAJ has dedicated itself to advocating for immigrant and civil rights through direct services, leadership development, and community organizing. The organization focuses on at-risk middle and high school youth, low-wage workers, and newly arrived immigrants, helping them navigate the complexities of life in the United States. Over the decades, FAJ has evolved its mission to empower vulnerable domestic workers, particularly caregivers, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld.
