Our Story
In Racine, Wisconsin, the fight against human trafficking began with the Racine Dominicans in 2012. This grassroots campaign led to the formation of the Racine Coalition Against Human Trafficking (RCAHT), which became a 501(c)(3) in 2015. In 2017, the organization rebranded as Fight to End Exploitation (FEE) to reflect its broader mission across Southeast Wisconsin. FEE collaborates with various agencies to provide essential support to victims and advocates for systemic change.
Impact
Since 2014, Fight to End Exploitation has assisted over 500 victims of labor and sex trafficking, offering trauma-informed support and advocacy. In 2020, a 70% increase in individuals self-identifying as needing help was recorded, thanks to their extensive awareness efforts. The Speaker’s Bureau has trained over 20,000 community members and professionals to recognize and respond to human trafficking.
