Our Story

The Fifteenth Judicial District Child Advocacy Center (CAC) was founded in 2008 by a dedicated group of citizens committed to supporting children who have suffered severe physical or sexual abuse. Starting with just one employee, the CAC has grown into a robust team, including an Executive Director, two Forensic Interviewers, and a Family Advocate, all focused on providing comprehensive care and support to young victims and their families.

Impact

Since its inception, the CAC has positively impacted the lives of over 10,000 children in the 15th Judicial District through its community education program, Darkness to Light / Stewards of Children. This program trains adults to prevent, recognize, and respond to child abuse, creating a safer environment for children.
