Fierce Freedom

Our Story

In 2008, Jenny Almquist was moved by a presentation on human sex trafficking, igniting a passion to combat this modern-day slavery. Together with her husband, Dave Almquist, they founded Fierce Beauty to raise funds for anti-trafficking organizations. By 2012, this mission evolved into Fierce Freedom, a nonprofit dedicated to educating and raising awareness about human trafficking in northwest Wisconsin. In 2013, the organization established its office in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, expanding its reach and impact.

Fierce Freedom is committed to educating the public about the reality of human trafficking, which occurs not only in distant lands but also in rural Wisconsin. By raising awareness, the organization aims to disrupt cycles of exploitation and protect the most vulnerable members of society.
