Our Story

Fidgetech is a Portland-based nonprofit founded in 2016, born from the dedication of individuals committed to the success of adults experiencing autism. Dr. Justine Haigh, inspired by her son Dan, collaborated with David Karstens, Jeanna Johnson, and other volunteers to create a program that utilizes technology to empower neurodiverse individuals. Through innovative computer-based activities, Fidgetech aims to inspire hope and provide dignity.

Impact

Fidgetech's mission is to increase employment opportunities for adults experiencing autism, addressing the high unemployment rates in this community. By providing essential training and support, the organization helps individuals lead more meaningful and productive lives.
