Our Story
Founded in 1970, Family Health Centers of San Diego is dedicated to delivering caring, affordable, and high-quality health care to everyone, especially the uninsured and low-income individuals. With 90 sites across San Diego County, FHCSD is one of the nation’s ten largest Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
Impact
Each year, FHCSD serves over 227,000 patients, with 91% being low-income and 29% uninsured. As the largest community clinic provider for the uninsured in the county, FHCSD plays a crucial role in ensuring access to essential health services.
