Our Story
In the late 1800s, Waco, Texas, thrived as one of the largest cities in the state, thanks to the Waco Suspension Bridge and the Waco Tap Railroad. The community's aspiration to host a Fall Festival led to the construction of an exposition hall in 1894. Although the building was lost to fire shortly after, the spirit of celebration endured. In 1970, Waco citizens revived the festival, which has now flourished for over 55 years, showcasing local theater productions that honor the city's rich history.
