Our Story

In the late 1950s, Boston's urban renewal efforts threatened the West End community, leading to the formation of the Fenway Community Development Corporation in 1973. This grassroots organization emerged from local residents' determination to preserve affordable housing and foster community development.

Impact

Each year, Fenway CDC positively impacts the lives of over 2,500 individuals, including adults, youth, seniors, and those with special needs. By providing access to affordable housing, social services, and educational opportunities, the organization enriches the Fenway neighborhood.
