FentCheck® is dedicated to decreasing the alarming rate of accidental overdoses by providing essential resources such as Fentanyl Test Strips and NARCAN. Operating primarily in nightlife venues, social clubs, and schools in Oakland, the organization empowers individuals to respond effectively in emergencies and promotes drug safety awareness.
In 2022 and 2023, FentCheck® received a grant from BAPHR to support LGBTQ+ venues in Oakland, including the White Horse Saloon and The Port Bar. This initiative led to the distribution of thousands of fentanyl test strips and Narcan training, significantly enhancing community safety.
