As the first nonsectarian relief organization in the city, it has a rich history of innovation, including directing the San Francisco Earthquake Relief Program in 1906 and establishing the first employment agency in the U.S. Today, Felton continues to evolve, providing essential services to diverse populations, including those impacted by the justice system, individuals facing mental health challenges, and older adults.
