Our Story

Feline Urgent Rescue of Western North Carolina is a dedicated, cage-free sanctuary focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, abused, and neglected cats. Established in 2014, this nonprofit organization operates primarily through the efforts of passionate volunteers.

Impact

Since its inception, FUR of WNC has successfully rehomed over 500 cats and currently provides care for more than 80 felines, all while operating on an annual budget of approximately $150,000.
