The Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs (FRC) was established to promote learning, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with disabilities and their families. Founded in 2001, FRC evolved from the Advocacy Coalition for People with Disabilities and has been a cornerstone of support in the Lowcountry area of South Carolina.
FRC has supported parents and guardians in over 7,000 school-based meetings and provided training workshops to 1,380 parents, 4,000 families, and 900 professionals, establishing itself as a trusted resource in the community.
