Founded in 1995, Family Promise Salt Lake is the first Family Promise affiliate in Utah, dedicated to combating homelessness through a unique shelter model. By mobilizing local congregations, this program provides temporary shelter for families in need, ensuring that no family has to face homelessness alone.

With homelessness on the rise in Utah, particularly due to a 25-30% increase in rent over the last two years, Family Promise Salt Lake plays a crucial role in minimizing its impact. Over the years, the organization has served over 800 families, with 84% remaining housed two years after completing the program, thanks to the support of generous donors and community members.
