Our Story

Founded in 2006 by a dedicated group of clergy and business leaders, Family Promise of Southeast Florida emerged to address the urgent needs of homeless families. Initially providing shelter and meals at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, the organization has evolved its services over the years, including the development of the CARE program and adaptations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the Road to Independence program, Family Promise has successfully transformed the lives of families experiencing homelessness, offering shelter, meals, and comprehensive case management that leads to financial self-sufficiency.
