Our Story
Family Promise of Greater Beloit was born from a simple act of kindness when Karen Olson offered a sandwich to a homeless woman. This moment sparked a deeper understanding of the struggles faced by homeless families, leading to the establishment of a local affiliate in 2001. Originally named Hands of Faith, the organization rebranded in 2017 to align with the national mission of eradicating family homelessness.
