Family Promise of Central Connecticut

Our Story

In the Spring of 2013, inspired by a friend's experience, Kara Russell initiated the formation of Family Promise of Central Connecticut. Recognizing the absence of affiliates in Connecticut, she organized a community meeting that led to the establishment of this vital nonprofit. Officially opened on March 5th, 2017, Family Promise of Central Connecticut is dedicated to ending child and family homelessness one family at a time by partnering with local organizations.
