Our Story

In 2021, a dedicated group of service providers recognized the urgent need to address the housing crisis affecting families with children in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Following the success of a Family Promise affiliate in Shenandoah County, discussions led to the establishment of a new affiliate hosted by Market Street United Methodist Church. In August 2022, Winchester Together became Family Promise Northern Shenandoah Valley, embarking on a mission to support families facing homelessness.
