Our Story

Heading Home is a leading provider of shelter and support services for homeless and formerly homeless children and adults in Greater Boston. Over the past 50 years, the organization has evolved from a small shelter program to a comprehensive agency, supporting over 4,000 individuals annually.

Impact

In FY 2022, Heading Home supported 2,070 clients, with an impressive 95% remaining permanently housed one year later. The organization successfully exited 150 households from emergency shelter, showcasing its effectiveness in addressing homelessness.
