Family Independence, Inc. has been a beacon of hope for at-risk families since 1991. Originally part of Family Service of Greater Boston, FII is dedicated to providing a safe and structured living environment for homeless teen parents and their children. With a focus on education and mental health support, FII helps families navigate life's challenges and achieve lasting stability.
Since 1996, over 550 girls have found refuge in our teen living program, and more than 500 families have been served since 2017. Family Independence is committed to changing lives, offering children and families the tools they need to become contributing members of society.
