About Family Housing Resources, Inc.

Established in 1991, Family Housing Resources, Inc. (FHR) is dedicated to providing low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Arizona with access to quality, affordable housing. Originally initiated by the Industrial Development Authority of Pima County, FHR has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization focused on homebuyer support programs, housing counseling, and financial education.

Our Impact

Over the past 27 years, FHR has assisted more than 12,000 households in achieving the American Dream of homeownership. In 2023 alone, 326 clients are on the path to homeownership, benefiting from homebuyer education, pre-purchase counseling, and down payment assistance. With $1.65 million in down payment assistance accessed for 33 households, FHR continues to make a significant impact in the community.
