Our Story

Established in 1942 by the Community Chest, now known as the United Way, Family Counseling Service has evolved to meet the mental health needs of the community. Initially focused on financial counseling, the organization now offers a wide range of mental health services, including a dedicated program for victims of violent crime established in 1994. With an outreach office in Kingsville since 2004, FCS serves Kleberg County and surrounding areas, ensuring access to high-quality services for all, regardless of their ability to pay.
