Our Story

Family Compass, founded in 1992, is dedicated to building healthy families and a strong North Texas community by preventing child abuse and neglect. Through in-home mentoring, education, and support, the organization empowers parents to create safer environments for their children.

Impact

Since its inception, Family Compass has served over 57,000 children and parents, saving the community an estimated $596 million in 2023 alone by preventing child abuse and keeping children safe in their homes.
