Our Story
Family and Children's Association (FCA) has been a beacon of hope for Long Island since 1884. Founded by Louisa Lee Schuyler and a dedicated group of women, FCA is committed to the welfare of children, families, seniors, and communities. With nearly 140 years of service, FCA offers a range of culturally competent community-based and residential programs.
Impact
Each year, FCA helps over 35,000 Long Islanders, addressing critical social, emotional, and economic challenges. The organization has awarded over $2 million in college scholarships and has ensured that 100% of Family Center children remain with their families.
