Our Story
Founded in 1991 by Marleine Bastien, Family Action Network Movement (FANM) began as a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering Haitian women in Miami. Over the years, FANM has evolved to serve all immigrant groups and low to moderate income families, providing essential wrap-around services such as mental health counseling, job training, and after school programs. The organization advocates for affordable housing, comprehensive immigration reform, and climate equity, ensuring that marginalized communities have a voice in critical issues affecting their lives.
