Our Story
The Families of the Wounded Fund was established in 2005 to provide essential financial assistance to families of service members who have sustained severe injuries in combat. Focused on Central Virginia, particularly around the McGuire VA Medical Center, FOTWF is dedicated to supporting caregivers of wounded veterans.

Since its inception, FOTWF has served 740 families, providing over $5.75 million in support, enabling them to remain close to their loved ones during recovery.
