Founded by Joe and Sandy Barker in 1993, Families Involved Serving Humanity Inc (F.I.S.H.) is dedicated to serving impoverished communities in the Islands of Lake Nicaragua. The Barkers returned to the region to provide humanitarian aid and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, focusing on the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of families.
Since its inception, F.I.S.H. has transformed the lives of over 2,500 individuals through various initiatives, including shelter for children and women, vocational training, and medical care for the elderly.
