Our Story

In 2011, local businessman Rick Gatewood was inspired to help those in need during Thanksgiving. He rallied the Tomball, TX community, and on November 23, 2011, the first Families Feeding Families event was held at Christbridge Fellowship. Over 500 meals were served, with additional meals delivered to local nursing homes, where volunteers dined with residents. The event featured free haircuts, face painting, and activities for children, creating a memorable experience for all.

Impact

Since its inception, Families Feeding Families has served over 26,000 meals and engaged 7,000 volunteers, showcasing a profound community impact.
