Our Story
FaithWorks of Abilene was inspired by Joyce Dalzell, who recognized the need for job training while volunteering at a local food pantry. In 2003, after receiving training from Columbia University, the first class was launched, aiming to equip unemployed adults with essential skills for employment. Since then, FaithWorks has celebrated over 51 classes, transforming lives and fostering self-sufficiency in the community.
