Founded in 2015 by a coalition of Bridgeport pastors, FaithActs for Education is dedicated to advocating for educational equity, particularly for Black and brown communities. Recognizing the urgent need for representation in education reform, FaithActs empowers congregants from predominantly Black churches to demand better educational opportunities for their children. Through community organizing and civic engagement, the organization has mobilized thousands of voters and secured vital funding for public education.
