Our Story
Since 1956, Faith Mission has been dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness in Elkhart, Indiana. Founded by Rev. Howard VanHarlingen and Rev. Harold Barger, the mission began with a simple rented building and a commitment to serve transients. Over the years, it has grown into a vital resource for the community, offering shelter, food, and spiritual support.
