Our Story

In 1983, Reverend Doctor Tom Graves and a local landowner identified a pressing need for low-income senior housing in Plano, Texas. With the guidance of Don Learner and support from the Ministerial Alliance, they founded Plano Community Homes. This grassroots organization secured funding through a HUD program and successfully built its first housing units, which were quickly filled. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to meet the growing demand for affordable housing for seniors and veterans.

Impact

For over 30 years, Plano Community Homes has provided HUD-subsidized housing, significantly enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
