About the Fairfield County Children's Choir

The Fairfield County Children’s Choir, now in its twenty-ninth season, is a vibrant community-based choral program that brings together children in grades 4-12 from Fairfield County and beyond. Founded in 1995, the FCCC offers a challenging and rewarding musical experience, with over three hundred children participating annually across four choirs. Students receive expert instruction in vocal and choral techniques, music literacy, and the appreciation of diverse musical styles through the performance of great choral repertoire.

Impact of the Choir

The FCCC has made a significant impact by performing with esteemed groups such as the Fairfield County Chorale and the Connecticut Chamber Choir. The choir has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, gracing prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Importantly, the FCCC provides financial aid to every accepted student who requests it, ensuring that all children can participate, regardless of their financial situation.
