Eye to Eye

Our Story

In 1998, David Flink and a group of students at Brown University embarked on a mission to support neurodiverse students. They aimed to create a movement that would connect elementary and middle school students with positive, near-peer role models who could relate to their unique experiences. This vision led to the establishment of the Eye to Eye Mentoring Program, which has grown to serve over 12,000 students across more than 1,000 schools nationwide.

Impact

Over the past 25 years, Eye to Eye has reached more than one million individuals in public, private, and charter schools across 30 states. The transformative programs have positively impacted over 10,000 students through campus-based initiatives, while inspiring countless others through our dedicated student and alumni ambassadors.
